Leaf Camping is a camping deticated app with the main focus of selling essentials. It also helps users to plan their trips with a personalized guide, possible by taking a quick quiz that will present users a recommended location based on their choices, including also essential recommendations on the app’s shop.
The process I followed for this project is the one I always use when working with UX/UI, my work is always centered on the user and its needs. I start with brainstorming as much ideas as possible, then, after a research, and after knowing what are the user needs, I chose the ones that I think will be a good solution for them. I sketch and wireframe before starting to build a high-fidelity prototype, which I after test to discover and solve errors it might have before launching the product to the world.
With the help of an affinitty diagram, I started to list some features that the product could include that would be usefull for the users
I created 2 different User Personas, imagining what type of users would use the app and what would be their goals and problems.
After creating the personas, I created two goal statements to clarify the goals that I would need to follow during the process.
Goal Statement 1
Our camping APP will let users go prepared for their camping experience which will affect how people chose and buy the products they need by giving them recommendations and the ability to buy in app the essentials they need, we will measure effectiveness by analyzing the sales numbers and user reviews
Goal Statement 2
Our camping APP will let users prepare their camping experience which will affect how people chose camping destinations and get to know the essentials they need by giving our and users recommendations based on certains factors like number of participants, number of days, goals etc... We will measure effectiveness by analyzing the sales numbers and user reviews
With the goals well defined, I drew a user flow based on the main task a user could do, a quiz for a personalized camping guide.
